About Meridian
A small label with one shop, twelve pieces a season, and no plans to be larger than that.
Meridian started in 2021 with four pieces and a table in someone's flat. It is now twelve pieces a season and one room on Wood Street, and that is close to the size we want it to be.
We make short runs because a short run can be honest. Nobody has to sell you something they do not believe in to clear a warehouse, because there is no warehouse. When a piece sells out, it either gets re-cut or it does not, and we say which.
There is no online shop and there will not be one. Cloth is the whole argument for these clothes and cloth does not photograph. You have to hold it, which means you have to come in, which means we have to be worth the trip.
