Help
The questions we are actually asked, answered by the people who answer them in the shop.
Can I buy anything on this website?
No. There is no cart and no checkout, and we are not building one. You can ask us to hold a piece for 48 hours and come and try it.
Will you post something to me?
If you have already been in and know your size, yes — we will send it within India at cost and you can return it for a full refund within fourteen days. If you have never tried the piece, we would rather you came in, or booked a fitting.
Do you hold pieces?
For 48 hours, on a name, with nothing paid. If you need longer than that, ask — it is usually fine.
What happens when something sells out?
We say so on the piece, with the month the next run reaches the shop if there is one. If there is not going to be another run, we say that instead.
Do you have a sale?
No. Prices are the same in June as in January. A piece that has not sold gets re-cut in a different cloth or stops being made.
Are alterations included?
The first hem on any trouser is free and done while you wait. Everything else is priced on the care page and takes three to four days.
Can I return something?
Within fourteen days, unworn, with the receipt or without it if we remember you — which we usually do. Altered pieces cannot be returned, which is why we measure twice.
Do you make things to measure?
Not properly, no. We will alter a stock piece a long way toward you, and for a few regulars we have cut a one-off. Ask in the shop rather than by email.
