- Length
- Finished at 86 cm. We do not shorten this one — it is meant to sit on the shoe.

- Wash at 30 °C. Chambray softens fast and creases; that is the cloth doing what it does.
The cut
A carpenter cut kept honest: the loop is load-bearing, not decoration, and the pockets take a hand to the wrist.
How it is put together
- Drawstring waist in a flat cotton tape, threaded through a channel rather than eyelets.
- The hammer loop is kept and bar-tacked at both ends.
- Deep front pockets, bagged in the same chambray.
- Felled inseam, so there is no raw edge inside the leg.
