The cut

A true crew, sitting on the collarbone. The cotton–linen gives it a dry handle rather than a soft one.

How it is put together

  • Panels knitted to shape on a 12-gauge machine, then linked by hand at the shoulder.
  • Set-in sleeve, linked rather than overlocked.
  • Neck, cuffs and welt in a 2×2 rib knitted in one with the body.
  • No cut edges anywhere in the garment.
