- Length
- Left long at 92 cm and finished to your leg in the shop, usually while you wait.
- Care
- Dry clean or wash at 30 °C on a wool cycle. Press on the reverse with a cloth.
The cut
Cut high on the waist and full through the leg, with the pleats doing the work rather than the seat.
How it is put together
- Two forward pleats, pressed but not stitched down, so they open as you sit.
- Extended waistband tab with a hidden hook.
- Side-seam pockets cut on the slant, bagged in cotton twill.
- Unfused waistband interlined with woven canvas.
- Corozo button at the tab; the fly is a zip, not buttons.
