- Length
- Curved hem, 74 cm at the back, cut to tuck.
- Care
- Wash at 30 °C. The yarn-dyed weave lightens at the folds over a year or two, which is the pleasure of it.
The cut
Cut close to the body but not slim, with room across the back for a shoulder that actually works.
How it is put together
- Band collar with a two-piece stand, turned and topstitched at 2 mm.
- Full placket, cut on the selvedge so the edge needs no hem.
- Single-needle felled side seams throughout.
- Sleeve placket with a proper gauntlet button.
- Shell buttons; the spares are sewn inside the left vent.
