- Cut and sewn in Bengaluru, forty minutes from the shop, by a workroom of nine.
- Length
- Finished at 68 cm from the high point of the shoulder. Not meant to be tucked.
- Care
- Wash at 30 °C and hang it damp. Linen presses best while it is still wet.
The cut
Cut square and short enough to wear out. The shoulder is dropped 2 cm past the natural point.
How it is put together
- One-piece camp collar, cut on the same grain as the front so it lies flat open.
- Single-needle armhole and side seam, felled.
- Elasticated hem channel at the back only — the front hangs straight.
- Shell buttons, sewn with a shank so the placket does not pull.
