- Cut and sewn in Bengaluru, forty minutes from the shop, by a workroom of nine.
- Length
- Curved hem, 72 cm at the back. Wear it out or tucked, it works either way.
- Care
- Wash at 30 °C. Line dry. It will crease, and it is supposed to.
The cut
Straight through the body with no waist suppression at all. Linen moves; a fitted linen shirt fights it.
How it is put together
- Band collar, interlined with woven cotton so it stands without stiffening.
- Half placket, topstitched at 3 mm and bar-tacked at the base.
- Set-in sleeve with a felled armhole.
- Side vents, faced, so it sits over a trouser without riding.
